Tim Greaton does not disappoint in this novella, showing the heroine Kathy's dilemma and disappointment with her life. I loved this simply told story and marvelled at his understanding of the female psyche. When I say this story was simply told, I do not mean that it is "simple" just that it is straightforward, easy to read, sensitive and charming. It also had the happy ending for which I was hoping :)Do read this, it is well worth the investment of time and money...

It was amazing from start to finish! Karen is a typical women, and Tim gets that somehow. I love it, defiantly worth a second read, or third, or fourth!
This is a great story of healing and self-discovery. When I started the story I was skeptical that a man could write from a woman's perspective. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself totally immersed in the story. The story is well rounded and I found myself tearing up right along with the character and cheering for her happy ending. Get this and Tim's other books!
It is so refreshing when you discover a short story that makes you feel all the emotions a full length novel has the time to evoke. Bones in the Tree did just that. I completely connected with the main character, Kathy, and cried when she cried, and got angry right along with her. It is a slice of life that could happen to any of us, and it certainly has with me.
Bones in the Tree is well written, and concise, with characters who are colorful and real. Don't pass this one by. Tim Greaton has authored another, fabulous short story.
It gives a different perspective on life. It will make me read more of Tim Greaton books. It is light and funny - enjoyable reading.
Another gorgeous story from this author. A short novella about a very endearing squirrel, a woman who has returned to her home town after a break-up and a septic tank that meeds a major over-hall. The end is totally heart-warming. I loved this one.
Just finished Bones in the Tree. I really enjoyed the smooth, comfortable feel of the story. Loved the characters, which seemed well developed for a short story. Tim painted his scenes masterfully, decorating my imagination with a quaint, Maine setting. The pace of the story worked well and he kept me interested from beginning to end.
Neat look at changes in life. Inspiring, emotional, thoughtful, thought provoking and humorous.
This is not what I expected but defiantly a good read. It is what I needed on this rainy day.
